It’s been awhile since I played chess. Everytime I placed, I didnt pay much attention to the number of squares within the chess board. So today, while I was surfing the internet, it was strange that I happened to stumble upon this website (teahingideas.co.uk) that made me want to find out more about the number of square.
So the site explains that if you look at the chess board, there are 64 squares. But if you change your perspective on looking at the definition of the squares on the board, there are 204 squares on a chess board. Pretty neat, just shows how looking at things differently would make a difference eh 🙂
